About YEWFLO
YEWFLO is a vortex flowmeter
manufactured by Yokogawa. 
Yokogawa
claims a lengthy history with vortex meters, having manufactured the very
first one in 1979. In response to customer requests, Yokogawa went on to
develop high temperature, cryogenic, dual-sensor, reduced bore, and
fieldbus communication versions. They report over 300,000 YEWFLO meters
sold internationally. Yokogawa's
latest vortex flowmeter is the digitalYEWFLO which uses proprietary
Spectral Signal Processing (SSP) algorithms to analyze the vortex waveform
into its spectral components for filtering the noise from the signal.
Yokogawa claims SSP enhances the reliability of the measurement.
